The 67-year-old was arrested in Co Cavan
PSNI say detectives from An Garda Síochána have arrested a man on suspicion of a 1979 murder in Armagh.
The man was also arrested on suspicion of firearms offences and membership of a proscribed organisation, according to police.A PSNI statement added: "The arrest was made under a Trade and Co-operation Agreement Warrant as part of a joint operation with the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
