Officers were called to Glasgow Bridge near to Jamaica Street at around 7.40am on Tuesday October, 10, following reports of an incident.
Images from the scene show three police vans sitting under the rail bridge which runs over the A814 and River Clyde.READ MORE: Glasgow to be drenched in heavy rain as Met Office issue another flood warning A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.40am on Tuesday, 10 October, 2023, officers responded to a report of concern for a woman in Jamaica Street, under Glasgow Bridge.
“A 57-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are at an early stage to establish the full circumstances.”
