Police have launched an appeal after a group of youths attacked a man before running away with his phone in Airdrie.

The victim did not require hospital treatment.
The suspect is described as white, around 16 to 18 years old, 5ft 7, with short brown hair and was seen wearing a grey tracksuit. Detective Constable Lisa McMullen said: "We understand that a woman may have witnessed this incident and we are appealing for her, or anyone else who saw what happened, to please get in touch."We would also like to hear from people with private CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area from Sunday evening which could be of significance.
