The attacker was driving a small blue van
A man driving a small blue van assaulted the worker on Monday, February 13 around 9.15am.Now, police are pleading with anyone who may have information or dashcam footage to come forward.
The force is particularly keen to speak to a woman driving a dark-coloured Audi who stopped to help the injured worker.shared the appeal on the Lanarkshire Police Division's Facebook page. They wrote:"We are appealing for information after a traffic management worker was assaulted on the A71 at Garrion Bridge in Larkhall."The male responsible was driving a small blue van."We are particularly keen to hear from a female, who was driving a black coloured Audi motor vehicle, who stopped and offered assistance."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0708 of Monday 13 February 2023.
