A man has been charged in connection with a fatal collision in Glasgow's Broomielaw which led to the death of 22-year-old French cyclist Emma Newman.
Emergency services cordoned off the area in the city centre after a collision involving a bike and lorry, after 10am on Friday January 27. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 69-year-old man has been charged in connection with a collision which resulted in the death of a cyclist in Glasgow. "The incident happened on Broomielaw around 10.10am on Friday, 27 January, 2023 and involved the cyclist and an HGV.
