A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged stabbing in Glasgow nearly two months ago.
A man has been arrested and charged after a pensioner was allegedly stabbed in broad daylight inside a vehicle. Armed police and a dog unit were called to on Auckland Wynd in the Dalmarnock area ofParamedics also attended the scene and a 77-year-old man was taken to with serious injuries.
Dog units were pictured scouring the scene near Riverbank Primary School in the east end of the city.vehicles parked along the residential street as enquiries got underway. On Saturday, around two months later, Police Scotland confirmed a 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. Sheriff Court on Monday, June 15. Local residents were left in shock following the alleged assault.
One mum said: "I came running to the school thinking the worst. The teachers told me they took all the kids in and have shut all the blinds.
"The place was swimming with armed police earlier and they now have the dogs out. Thankfully no kids were hurt. I was so worried. "
