Pictures circulated on X, formerly Twitter, appeared to show two men laughing at the Sheffield Wednesday v Sunderland match at Hillsborough on Friday.
A man has been charged after Sheffield Wednesday fans appeared to mock the death of young football mascot Bradley Lowery who died after a battle with cancer.
He was a mascot for his beloved club and, in the months before his death, led England out at Wembley alongside former Black Cats striker Jermain Defoe, who struck up a strong relationship with the boy.
