He is due in court next month
A man has been charged after an incident which saw a car allegedly narrowly miss pedestrians as it was driven erratically near a Belfast school.
The incident was reported on Wednesday at around 8.27am on Manor Street, where some parents had been dropping children off to the nearby Belfast Royal Academy. A 36-year-old man was arrested a short time later and has since been charged with a number of offences including dangerous driving and other driving offences.Police said the car was reported to have been driving dangerously down Manor Street, coming close to parents and children who use the road as a drop off point on their way to school.
