Paul Bussetti, 46, has been charged over the incident.

A man has been charged over a video posted online of a cardboard effigy of Grenfell Tower being burnt on a bonfire. The clip showed several people carrying the cardboard model of the tower, which claimed 72 lives when it caught fire in June last year, and placing it on a bonfire.

Bussetti was charged on Friday with two counts of sending/causing to be sent grossly offensive material via a public communications network, contrary to section 127 and of the Communications Act 2003.Six men were arrested and a seventh interviewed under caution over the video, which sparked outrage when it was posted online in November.
