Police say Coldsmith threw a rock through the window of someone’s Dodge pickup truck, then threw another rock while the victim was driving. Troopers then traveled a short distance to a nearby barn that was in flames. The barn was reportedly full of hay and had potential to spread to a nearby cornfield and other occupied homes.
Troopers later found Coldsmith on the same road with a lighter in his pocket. He was arrested and transported to Franklin County jail.
