A man has appeared in court charged with murder after another man died on an Edinburgh street near the Taylor Swift concert at Murrayfield.
A 53-year-old man was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene with his next of kin informed while a 43-year-old male was arrested in connection. The incident happened less than a 5-minute walk from Murrayfield where thousands of fans were making their way to Swift's gig. Officers had to advise concert goers to avoid the area and find alternative routes when they locked down the street.
