A man has been charged with the murder of Belfast woman Hollie Thomson, police confirmed in the early of this morning .
A 31-year-old man is now due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court later today. It comes after detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team launched a murder investigation. Officers were called to a property in the Greenan area of the city on September 11. This followed the report of a sudden death of a woman in her 20s.Late on Monday night, police said they had arrested a 31-year-old male on suspicion of murder. In a tweet sent out shortly after midnight this morning, West Belfast Police said: "A 31-year-old man has been charged with the murder of 28-year-old Hollie Thomson from the Greenan area in West Belfast.
"He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday September 14th. As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS."
