Man charged with murder of Elle Edwards as tributes paid to 'beautiful' sister

A man has been charged with the murder of Elle Edwards, with tributes paid to the "beautiful" 26-year-old by her grieving sister.

He faces further charges of possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life, and handling stolen goods, listed in court documents as a Mercedes A Class vehicle, reports the Mirror. Merseyside Police said Chapman has been remanded in custody and will appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court on Friday.

Tributes have poured in for the beautician after her death on December 24, with friends and family speaking movingly of the 26-year-old. Elle was described as "beautiful inside and out" by her sister Lucy, who shared a touching Instagram post on New Year's Day.
