Police were responding to reports of a burglary, after an alleged dognapping, when they found the 45-year-old -who is originally from Alness, near Invergordon - dead at the scene.
A man has been charged with the murder of a Scots dad who 'had been dead for several days' before he was found.

The animal, believed to be called Layla, has since been recovered and is being cared for by the relevant authorities.
