He was charged with three counts of sending a threat using interstate commerce. Anderson was accused of sending the threatening text messages late last year.
On Tuesday, they told the judge that they had reached a unanimous verdict on one count but were unable to reach a consensus on the others.Deliberations were canceled for the day Wednesday because 'something' had 'come up,' court officials said. Jurors were set to resume deliberations at noon Thursday, but it was at that time that prosecutors filed a motion to dismiss the case because Anderson was dead.
