Man City’s 115 charges fight could be paused as the wait continues for a solution to the Premier League’s Associated Party Transactions rules.Man City took legal action against the Premier League regarding the APT rules currently in place at an arbitration hearing in June.
Both sides have claimed a victory in the case after the arbitration panel’s decision was published on 7 October, where two aspects of the rules were deemed to be unlawful. The Premier League had scheduled a meeting of the 20 top-flight clubs for 17 October to decide how to respond to the ruling, but in the latest twist – it was postponed while further clarification is sought.Borson claimed City’s legal team will not want to return to the APT case while they are fighting the Premier League over 115 charges in a separate hearing.“They’re now in the hands of the tribunal and I don’t know how quickly they can sit on this thing.

It’s pretty chaotic for this to be happening, and we’re reading between the lines because all we know is what is coming out.”
