Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola's future has been in doubt with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reportedly decided to sign a new contract with the Premier League champions. Guardiola has been in charge of the Manchester club since July 2016 but his future had looked uncertain.
However, according to The Athletic, Guardiola has decided to remain in place and will sign a one-year deal with the option of a further 12 months after that. Guardiola's contract announcement is expected to arrive later this week, most likely before City take on Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
