Football Insider has been told by sources that Crystal Palace are hoping to tie down Eberechi Eze to a new deal to end speculation of a move to Man City.

The 25-year-old’s former club QPR would also be entitled to a 20 per cent cut of the fee if Eze does move on in the upcoming windows.Last term the midfielder made 40 appearances across all competitions with ten goals and four assists in those outings.Eze has also earned two senior England caps and was included in the squad for their most recent round of Euro 2024 qualifiers, playing 20 minutes in the 4-0 win over Malta.
