Manchester City have accepted they broke Premier League rules on 22 occasions across the last two seasons - the majority of which were delays to restarts at the beginning of the second half of matches
Manchester City have been slapped with a £2million fine by the Premier League for multiple breaches of kick-off and restart rules.
A more detailed document revealed that the club admitted to causing delays "without good reason" on 22 occasions. Most of these were delays to second-half restarts, but there were also several instances where the initial kick-off was delayed. City have agreed to resolve the situation with payments totalling around £2m. This includes six-figure sums for each of the eight breaches identified since the turn of the year, with £200,000 for delaying kick-off in the West Ham game representing the highest punishment.
