Manchester City head to Chelsea on Sunday looking to consolidate their position at the top of the Premier League
Rinse and repeat Manchester City headed down to London for a tough game before the international break and things didn't go so well. They lost at Arsenal to raise questions about their strength this season amid the glaring problem of how to cope without Rodri in the team.
Arsenal look to be a better team than Chelsea, who seem to have somehow emerged from inflicting Tottenham's first defeat of the season by thumping them 4-1 with less credit than they had before. However, Mauricio Pochettino has inflicted some important defeats on this City side and will be motivated to chalk up another win.
Beware the old boys There will predictably be a lot of talk of Cole Palmer ahead of this game. Palmer wasn't given the opportunities or assurances he wanted at the beginning of this season at City and, while there is an argument that his form over the past 18 months hadn't merited it, he has instantly stepped up at Chelsea after a £42.5m move at the end of the transfer window.
And, with football being the funny game that it is, what chance Mateo Kovacic pops up and steals the headlines from both of them on his return to Stamford Bridge after a move that went largely under the radar?
