Manchester City are ramping up preparations for their Premier League return against Brentford on Saturday.
Phil Foden is back in training, handing Pep Guardiola a major injury boost ahead of Manchester City's Premier League clash with Brentford on Saturday.
It appeared that the group was mostly made up of players who hadn't been away with their nations, and those who played their second game on Sunday - including Rodri, Manu Akanji, and the Portuguese and Croatian players. Training had been supplemented by some academy players at the start of the week, while City will expect the rest of their internationals back on Thursday and Friday. Rodri's return is another step in the right direction after he played an hour for Spain against Switzerland at the weekend in what was his first appearance of the season - despite some pointed words from his national manager that City's fitness plan for him was not the priority.
