Latest Manchester City transfer news with updates emerging on Eberechi Eze, Luis Diaz and Bruno Guimaraes
Manchester City could be set for a busy end to the summer transfer window following the sale of Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid.
Though Oscar Bobb and James McAtee could still enjoy breakout seasons for City, a transfer replacement for Alvarez may come in. Wolves star Pedro Neto was one attacker linked to an Etihad Stadium switch, though he has since joined Chelsea. Joao Felix was another potential option that emerged amid talks for Alvarez to join Atletico, but the Portugal international could join his fellow countrymen at Stamford Bridge.
According to reports from the Athletic, internal discussions have taken place over the past few days regarding Eze, though he appears to be one of many options still being considered. Shockingly, Liverpool's Luiz Diaz emerged as one of the players City could push to sign, with reports in Spain even claiming an agreement had been reached.
With perhaps only one more summer signing to arrive, City look to be planning for the long-term and thus still hold an interest in Bruno Guimaraes. Arsenal have shown an interest in the Brazil international, though Newcastle's significant asking price has halted any deal from occurring.
