Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness warns that Manchester City could face a significant revenue drop if they fail to qualify for the Champions League this season.
Everton ’s former chief Keith Wyness has claimed failing to qualify for the Champions League would see revenues at Man City drop between £40-60million. the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – insisted other clubs would find that loss a matter of “life or death”, but suggested City are well-run and can absorb the blow.
