Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has been in fine form this season and has seen his performances labelled as 'almost as good as Ederson' by former Man City star Peter Schmeichel
Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel has offered high praise for Arsenal's David Raya - and has claimed that he is now rivalling Manchester City's Ederson .
Now in his eighth season with City, the 31-year-old has an impressive trophy cabinet including six Premier Leagues, one Champions League, two FA Cups, four Carabao Cups, three Community Shields, the FIFA Club World Cup and one UEFA Super Cup. Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, Schmeichel commended Raya's performances and even compared him to City's Ederson. He said: "Ederson is the best keeper in the Premier League. David Raya is coming close now too.
"Against Tottenham, he passed the ball straight out to Romero. All those mistakes, I haven't seen this season."
