Football Insider has been told by Frank McAvennie that Man City star Rodri must have been provoked by Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White.
Morgan Gibbs-White must have provoked Rodri leading to his red card for Man City against Nottingham Forest last weekend., former West Ham striker Frank McAvennie said there is no way Rodri would have “lost the plot” unless Gibbs-White said something to wind him up., the 27-year-old was shown a straight red card after grabbing the Forest star around the neck despite his side being 2-0 in front.
The midfielder has been handed a three-match ban following the sending off and will miss the crucial game against Arsenal on 8 October.
