A 40 year old man was discovered injured and required treatment at hospital. An eyewitness told Glasgow Live that the man was "covered in blood" following the late-night incident. A 33 year old woman has been charged under the Dangerous Dogs Act and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier involved was put down, police confirmed. A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 10.40pm on Tuesday, 28 May, we received a report of a disturbance in the South Bridge Street area of Airdrie.""A 33-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the Dangerous Dogs Act.", reports Glasgow Live.
