A man has died while in custody at Barlinnie prison.

The 69-year-old had been remanded at Glasgow High Court this year.A Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held into Stevenson's death.

A Scottish Prison Service spokesperson said:"Richard Stevenson, 69, a prisoner at HMP Barlinnie has died on May 16, 2023.have been advised and the matter reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
