The man was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee following the crash in Arbroath on June 8, later dying on Monday, June 12.
The 69-year-old man from Arbroath was seriously injured when his silver Nissan Micra was involved in a single-vehicle road crash on East Mary Street, at its junction with Hannah Street in the town around 1am on Thursday, June 8.
He was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where he died on Monday, June 12. Police said today the gentleman's family are aware. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
