The American XL Bully dog will be banned by the end of the year after a man died as a result of another suspected attack by the breed near a primary school in Staffordshire, Rishi Sunak has said.
In a statement published by the Prime Minister on X, the platform formely known as Twitter today, Mr Sunak appeared to confirm that the breed responsible is suspected to be an XL Bully.including an incident in Birmingham last weekend which was captured on video and left an 11-year-old girl with injuries.“I share the nation’s horror at the recent videos we’ve all seen and yesterday we saw another suspected XL Bully attack which has tragically led to a fatality.
“We were called just before 3.15pm on Thursday 14 September to Main Street to reports that a man had been attacked by two dogs outside a property.”
