Cabin crew performed CPR for 40 minutes but he sadly died 😔
A man has tragically died on board a Jet2 flight to Glasgow after falling ill while thousands of feet up in the air.
A mid-air emergency was declared as cabin crew members performed CPR for 40 minutes but despite the best efforts of staff, he passed away, the Daily Record reports. It is understood he was travelling alone at the time of the incident. A mid-air emergency was declared near Glasgow Airport at around 6.40pm.
"The pilot came on to inform us we were going to have to do an emergency landing due to a medical incident on-board. We had to land with all our cabin lights on and it was quite scary because you know that is quite dangerous.
