BREAKING: Man dies 'while cooking' as emergency services scrambled to house
A man has tragically died after emergency services were scrambled to a house in Oldham after reports a cooker had been left on.
Police, alongside crews from Greater Manchester Fire Service and North West Ambulance Service attended the scene, shortly after 5pm after smoke was reported to be coming from the house.Despite the best efforts of other individuals at the property, as well as paramedics, a 65-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
His cause of death has not yet been confirmed, but it's understood that the man died 'whilst cooking' inside the property.
