A man has been dragged to the ground after making a dart for the Queen’s coffin during the vigil in London.

As our colleagues at The Mirror report, mourners were incredibly concerned by the incident. The man was seen breaking from the queue and rushing towards the coffin.Met Police said: “At 10pm on Friday, September 16, officers from the Met's Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command detained a man in Westminster Hall following a disturbance. He was arrested for an offence under the Public Order Act and is currently in custody.

Over the past few days, tens of thousands of people have been queuing to pay their respects to the Queen after her death was announced on Thursday, September 8. Some mourners have reported waiting many hours to pay their respects - former footballer David Beckham reportedly queued 12 hours.
