James Ireland has been charged with the murder of Billy Moore
A man was due to appear before magistrates today charged with murder after the death of a man who police said 'sustained serious injuries' after an incident at a house in Cheshire.
Ireland, of Lodge Lane, Bewsey and Whitecross, was due to appear at Chester Magistrates' Court today, Boxing Day, a police spokesperson said. "Billy, 31, sadly died following an incident at an address in Yardley Avenue in Bewsey and Whitecross on Thursday 22 December. James Ireland was arrested in connection with the incident at around 4.40pm on Saturday 24 December.
A 44-year-old woman, meanwhile, who was arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to the incident, has since been released on conditional bail, the force added.
