Man dumps woman because she covered her acne with makeup and says he was catfished
All too often we see men making jokes about taking women swimming on the first date to see what she looks like without her hair and makeup done, and men who stress they prefer the ‘natural look’.
The woman wrote all about him on Reddit, asking whether she is in the wrong for not telling him she had acne. : ‘Am I the a*rsehole for hiding my acne with makeup and not telling my potential boyfriend about it?’But the Reddit community had her back, reassuring her that she hadn’t led him on or catfished him and that the boyfriend just sounded really shallow.‘At first, he didn’t say anything, just looked at me a bit weird,’ she said in the now deleted post. ‘When we were alone, he just told me that he didn’t know I had acne like that. After that, he’s been acting distant the whole trip.
