A man is facing criminal charges after authorities alleged he left his apartment after noticing that a fire had started and failed to report it.
Christopher J. Perez, 40, was arrested on Sunday following an investigation into the blaze at the unit on Palisade Avenue in Cliffside Park, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release. He was charged with endangering the life of another, the disorderly persons offense of failure to take responsible measure to put out or control a fire as well as drug charges related to the narcotics allegedly found in the apartment, officials said.Both drivers were drunk in summer crash that killed 23-year-old, investigators allege
