A police investigation is now underway
A man who died after being found unresponsive in a Nottingham car park has now been named by police. Emergency services attended Moffat Close, St Ann’s, at 1.40am on March 8, with forensic officers also being spotted at the scene.
A police investigation is currently underway, with the man’s death currently being treated as unexplained. The force has now reiterated calls for anyone who was in the area at the time, or who might have footage of what happened, to contact the police. A 43-year-old man was arrested as part of the ongoing investigation and has been bailed.
“I’d like to express my sincere condolences to the man’s family during what must be an incredibly difficult time. We have a team of detectives working tirelessly to piece together exactly what happened but want to stress the public has an important role to play in helping us do this. “Likewise, we’d like to hear from anyone who may have inadvertently recorded any footage that could assist us on CCTV or dashcam to get in touch. Any piece of information or evidence, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem, could provide a massive help to our investigation by helping us uncover the truth about what happened.
