San Antonio police are investigating after a shooting at a West Side apartment early Wednesday morning.

The shooting happened just after 3 a.m. at an apartment in the 1100 block of Colima Street, not far from Guadalupe Street and near the Alazan-Apache Courts.According to police, a man, woman and son were in the apartment when someone from outside fired gunshots. Police said a bullet went through the door and grazed the man in the cheek. The woman and son were not injured.The victim was taken by ambulance to an area hospital to be checked out. He is expected to recover.
