The landlord was not able to get in touch with the previous tenant
Police are desperately looking for the relatives of a woman after they were handed an urn containing her ashes.
The urn contains the ashes of Marlene Charlesworth, who died in 2014 and was cremated in Leeds. Earlier this year, a landlord brought her urn to Northallerton Police Station. They had found it while clearing out a house in the town. Unfortunately, the landlord was not able to get in touch with the previous tenant. The force has not been able to get in touch with any of her relatives, despite calling the funeral home.
