A man was hospitalized after a serious assault near a primary school in Scotland . Police found a 25-year-old man on Cardross Road at the junction of Brucehill Road in Dumbarton around 3:05 pm on Monday, January 6th. Emergency services responded, and the man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment of lacerations before being released. The attack occurred near St Michael's Primary School.
Detective Constable Nic Neeson stated that inquiries are in the early stages to gather more information about the incident and locate the perpetrator. Neeson appealed to anyone who witnessed the attack or has relevant information to contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting reference number 1744 of January 6th.
