Merseyside Police responded to a report of a man in distress on Nevill Street in Southport, finding a 20-year-old with a head injury who was transported to the hospital for treatment.
A man was found in the street with a head injury after a call for a concern for safety. Emergency services were called to Nevill Street near Cable Street in Southport at around 1.20am on Sunday, December 15. It followed a report of a concern for safety of a man and officers were sent to the scene. When police arrived, they found a man aged in his 20s and he was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: 'We received a report of a concern for safety of a man at around 1.20am on Sunday 15 December on Nevill Street. 'Officers attended the scene and a man aged in his 20s was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury.
