Police said the gun violence erupted at about 3:21 a.m. on April 13 at the corner of Lewis Avenue and Pulaski Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant., in responding to a 911 call about the incident, found the victim, a 66-year-old man, with a gunshot wound to his right cheek. Based on a preliminary investigation, police determined that the man had been attacked by an unidentified suspect known to him. The motive for the shooting, however, remains unknown at this time.EMS rushed the wounded man to Kings County Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.Anyone with information regarding the shooting can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS .
