A man in his 20s was stabbed in the chest and required emergency surgery after suffering a collapsed lung. Marshall Williams-Handley, 21, was found guilty of wounding with intent and possession of a knife in a public place. He was handed an extended jail sentence of 10-and-a-half years.

Officers later discovered Marshall Williams-Handley was the knifeman, with clothing he had worn during the fight seized by officers from a property in Daybrook.21-year-old Williams-Handley, of Taylor Way, Nottingham. He denied the attack but was found guilty of wounding with intent and possession of a knife in a public place following a trial last December.
He pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply cannabis.on Thursday Williams-Handley was handed an extended jail sentence of 10-and-a-half years. Detective Constable Michaela Williams, of the force, said: "The men involved were known to each other and they had a fall out about drugs. "He required emergency surgery and we know his injuries, as well as the psychological scars of what happened, continue to impact his life.
"Williams-Handley was dealing drugs on the street and, due to his lifestyle, carried a weapon which he was clearly prepared to use. "As we so often see, the presence of a knife escalated the incident into something far more serious for all involved.
