A man has died after being struck by a car in Stockport last night
A silver Mercedes ML was travelling along Churchgate when it turned left into Silk Close and hit a man in his 40s Police have launched an appeal to look at the last movements of the victim before his death in hospital on Friday.A silver Mercedes ML was travelling along Churchgate when it turned left into Silk Close.Emergency services rushed to the scene but the man, in his 40s, was later pronounced dead in hospital.The scene of the incident in Stockport after a man was hit by a car around 7.
Greater Manchester Police said in a statement: ‘His family has been informed and they are being supported by specially trained officers. ‘While enquiries into the collision are ongoing, officers are appealing for witnesses to the collision and anyone who saw the man prior to the incident to come forward.’
