A man was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries
Officers were called to the scene of the crash outside Hilltown yesterday afternoon. The Kilkeel Road was closed in both directions and diversions were in place at Sandbank Road and Slievenaman Road.
The collision, between a jeep, towing a trailer, and a motorcycle was reported around 12.20pm and one man, the motorcyclist, was taken to hospital by air ambulance for treatment to serious injuries.READ MORE: Police confirm identity of Kilkeel murder victim as wife remains in hospital"A man in his 70s has been arrested following a road traffic collision in the Kilkeel Road area of Hilltown on Friday 22nd March," they said.
