A man claims he was kicked out of a Premier Inn restaurant in Manchester for being barefoot, despite the hotel's 'anything goes' policy. The man, who often goes barefoot due to foot issues, was told it was a 'health and safety' policy. He wants clarity on why the policy differs between branches.
A man was left furious after he claimed Premier Inn staff kicked him out of their restaurant in Manchester city centre for being barefoot - despite advertising that 'anything goes' and customers can 'make themselves at home'.

When you're wearing flip flops no-one cares but when you're barefoot some people do care.Blake, who was wearing a hoodie and tracksuit trousers, was visiting Manchester with pals and the trio went down to the Thyme restaurant for breakfast at 9am. He added: "I was in Manchester for the weekend.
"The other days thereafter I just went down with shoes to save the interaction and causing a big argument."
