A man was shot and killed at 5 a.m. on Monday in the Mission, marking the city's 21st homicide of the year.

Three people entered the store and stole 20 to 25 cartons of cigarettes, 10 to 15 large bottles of Casamigos tequila, and around $1,000 plus change from the cash register, according to Preed Singh, the store’s manager. Police “told me that shot someone after this,” Singh added. Singh said that a group of people had tried to cut the locks on the store a few weeks ago. From the surveillance footage, they appeared to be the same people who robbed the store on Monday.
