Two people have been taken to the hospital following an incident in the Brentwood area, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
– A man was killed in an officer-involved shooting in the Brentwood area Sunday at 3:50 p.m., according to theInvestigators said a black sedan stopped at the 27th Street and Main intersection, near Andrew Jackson High School.Police said the driver’s side door opened and there was a struggle between the driver and an individual in the backseat and they exchanged words.Simultaneously, a JSO officer pulled up and saw the man shooting, so he shot at the suspect, striking him multiple times.
A man said a stray bullet went through a wall in his house and just missed him while he was lying down in bed.
