Young man killed in tree crash named locally as tributes paid to 'beautiful soul'
The 20-year-old man from Parbold, named locally as Chris, was pronounced dead at the scene following the tragic incident on Friday night. Emergency services were called to Cobbs Brow Lane, near Skelmersdale, at around 10.45pm on April 14.
One of the messages reads: "To Chris' family, still doesn't make sense and it never will. The world will be a duller place without you. Thoughts are prayers are with your parents and brothers."An investigation has now been launched and Lancashire Police are appealing for any information relating to the incident. Police confirmed that the other man injured, who is from Liverpool, remains in hospital.
