Ant-Man's Bobby Cannavale joins the cast of Netflix's Man on Fire series, which is being led by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II .
’s forthcoming Man on Fire series, which is based on A.J. Quinnell’s novel of the same name. The novel was previously adapted into a 2004 movie directed by Tony Scott that starred Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning.Cannavale will play a character named Paul Rayburn in the series. Deadline describes him as an “ex-Special Forces soldier who possesses a unique ability to read people. He is charming, nurturing, and protective of those he cares for.
Cannavale’s filmography includes 2006’s Snakes on a Plane, 2010’s The Other Guys, 2014’s Chef, 2015’s Spy, 2017’s I, Tonya, 2017’s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, 2019’s The Irishman, and 2024’s MaXXXine, among other titles.
