Man on Jet2 flight arrested after 'sex assault' and 'spitting'

The man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault. He also allegedly spat at another passenger

The unnamed 42-year-old man was arrested by officers yesterday morning after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman onboard and spitting on another person, on the Jet2 flight from Manchester to Ibiza.

The Civil Guard spokesman said: “He will also be reported to the Spanish Air Safety and Security Agency for his alleged behaviour during the flight. The Aeronautical Safety and Security Agency is responsible for overseeing all aeronautical activities in Spain.
